im trying to learn one of the two but i don’t know which one would be easier.
im 15 by the way and the only instrument ive played before was a clarinet =./
percussion and melodic instruments are completly diff. i play the drums now, but i played the piano for like 2 years. i also tryed 2 learn guitar but it was 2 hard 4 me. i learned the drums faster than any1 i know. ive been playing for about a year and never had a lesson and id say im pretty dammn good. anyone can learn the drums but the thing is, there are ppl that dont have the coordination for it and struggle for a long time. i lucked out and learned them very easily and very quickly. some of my friends i try 2 teach jus cant comprehend the idea of seperating all your limbs. where as othet ppl ive taught learned it as fast or faster than i did. it all depends on the person and how much time u r willing 2 dedicate 2 practice. but id say DO IT! i dig chick musicians, but chick drummers are rediculously attractive in my book.
